Monday, August 5th

Today is the second day since I left Japan.

First, I went to NCC by bus. The commute to school is shorter than usual.

In the morning I had classes with HGK people and in the afternoon I had classes with my NCC buddy. I didn't really understand my buddy's class, but I enjoyed it.

After school we went home, played with our two Labradors and gave our host families lots of souvenirs from Japan. Afterwards, we had fun playing with the souvenirs and folding origami together. It was very exciting!

For dinner we had tacos. They were very tasty. They were so good I missed rice a bit.

It was a fun day.

  Today was my first day studying abroad in Australia.  First, we went to Mount Cootha. The scenery was very beautiful and there was more nature than in Tokyo. Second, we went to the University of Queensland. I was surprised because the university was very large compared to Japan. Third, we went to South Bank. I played table tennis with my friends. My host family walked with me around their house and showed me about the burds and the park. I had a great time today and I try my best to use English better tomorrow! E.S (girl)     Today, I departed Narita airport feeling nervous and excited at the same time. I waved Grandma good bye. Wednesday, August 14th

It was raining very hard today and it was hard to go to school . In the morning, I learned about the animals at the Australian Zoo and learned more about Australian animals in general. In the afternoon, we had planned to play sports outside, but since it was raining, we decide to do our presentations instead . It was a little disappointing , but I did get a sense of accomplishment. When I got home, I mades miso soup and it was very delicious. At that time, I started to miss Japanese food a little Lastly, I played with the bird my host family keeps  and went to sleep.
