Thursday, 8th August

I was very tired, so I couldn’t wake up early this morning. I think this is because I ran a lot at the beach yesterday. In my buddy’s lessons, I took French and Japanese. I understand Japanese, so in Japanese class, I didn’t feel so tired. However the French class was extremely difficult. I felt very tired. 

When I came back home, I played with the dogs and cat. They are so cute. After that, I played chess with my host brother and I won. I ate steak for dinner; it tasted amazing! After I ate dinner, I took a bath and went to bed. It was a good day.

I went to NCC this morning in my host family's car. After that, in the morning class, we danced to English music and then gave a presentation about what happened yesterday. I told the class that I went to the market yesterday and bought a small paper clip, that I ate a hamburger for lunch, and that the beach was very beautiful. In class, we also learned about Australia's famous dishes. Some of the dishes were prepared by my host family, and others I had never tried before. What particularly caught my attention was the meat pie. Plus, we learned about shopping. There were games too which was fun.

After class, I had lunch with my buddy. Lunch was delicious with Australia's famous sweets and honey toast. I'm having lunch with Buddy and Buddies friends each day. At first I couldn't speak well, but now I'm glad that I can speak little by little. After lunch, I had an afternoon class. In the first class, we explained the differences between NCC and Hiroo Gakuen Koishikawa. I talked about the presence or absence of schoolyards and pastures as an example. In the second class, I watched my buddy create a presentation.

After arriving at my host family's house, we had afternoon tea. It happened to be the meat pie I wanted to eat. It was very delicious. I went to the dance class that my host sister attends. She was a very good dancer and cool. I also had to dance, but it was very difficult and I couldn't dance well but it was fun.

I ate ice cream at McDonald's on the way home. It was a menu that doesn't exist in Japan, and it was very delicious. Furthermore, since it was night, we could see many stars. It was so beautiful.

After returning home, I ate dinner. Dinner was made with eggs and bacon. It was delicious. After dinner, I took a bath and write my blog entry. Today was a tough day because I suddenly had to give a presentation and dance in class, but it was a really fun day.
