Tuesday, 13th April

 Unfortunately, it rained all day today.

In the morning, we learned about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples symbols in artwork and tried to draw them. We also learned the lyrics of the Australian national anthem in class and sang it together at the end. 

After the morning class, I had ice cream and a chicken sandwich made by my host mother. All the food my host mother made was delicious.

When I got home, Eiji and I ate some chicken nuggets. A few hours later, we had curry rice for dinner and were full. After that, we took a bath and went to bed.

There are only four days left until we return home. We are going to enjoy the limited remaining days to the fullest !

Today was a nice day for me.

First off, I took an English class and we learned about Australian nature. We watched a video during the class. There is a lot of nature I've never seen before. It was impressive and totally different from Japan. After that, we made 'Dot Art'. It was so much fun and we could enjoy it. 

Then it was time to have lunch.

I ate an ice cream of 'milo' and a cookie cream taste drink. I ate it with my partner in the library and I talked a lot with his mate. Additionally, I could talk with a lot of people and could make a lot of mates and it was an incredible experience for me. 

After lunch, I took a Japanese class. 

I could share with other Australian people about Japanese language and culture. Also, we played a Japanese game and played with my partner, we could be number 1 once. I was proud to be Japanese. 

We only have a few days to stay here but I thought I wanted to enjoy Australia because 'You Only Live Once'!

  Today was my first day studying abroad in Australia.  First, we went to Mount Cootha. The scenery was very beautiful and there was more nature than in Tokyo. Second, we went to the University of Queensland. I was surprised because the university was very large compared to Japan. Third, we went to South Bank. I played table tennis with my friends. My host family walked with me around their house and showed me about the burds and the park. I had a great time today and I try my best to use English better tomorrow! Wednesday, August 14th

It was raining very hard today and it was hard to go to school . In the morning, I learned about the animals at the Australian Zoo and learned more about Australian animals in general. In the afternoon, we had planned to play sports outside, but since it was raining, we decide to do our presentations instead . It was a little disappointing , but I did get a sense of accomplishment. When I got home, I mades miso soup and it was very delicious. At that time, I started to miss Japanese food a little Lastly, I played with the bird my host family keeps  and went to sleep.
