A Day of Sunshine and Discovery: Eumundi Markets and Noosa beach
It's August 7th today and we had an excursion. We set off early (just for me maybe), the crisp air invigorating our spirits as we drove towards the iconic Eumundi Markets.
As we arrived, the vibrant atmosphere was immediately palpable! Stalls stretched as far as the eye could see, each offering unique treasures that beckoned us to explore. I bought a lot of things during these two hours: some for myself and some presents for my family and friends (I really recommend someone who likes shopping to go there!!!)
After a morning of exploration, we headed to the nearby Beatty Burgers for lunch. All of us had the same burger and it was actually good.
We went to the Noosa beach this afternoon and it was spent in blissful relaxation. We had some free time so we took a walk on the sand, played with water and wrote something in the sand. Some of my classmates (some boys) took off their tops and jumped into the water, too!!!
Our excursion to Eumundi Markets and Noosa Beach was a perfect blend of cultural immersion and natural beauty. From the eclectic charm of the markets to the tranquil shores of Noosa, each experience enriched our understanding of this beautiful region. As we drove back, the memories of the day lingered, a reminder of the Sunshine Coast's endless wonders

Today we met at NCC and then went to Eumundi Markets. I ate churros with chocolate sauce and donuts and drank smoothies in large pineapple containers. I also bought bracelets with Rion and Lily. We went to the park and played on the swings and teacups. There were many locals and Japanese people at the market.
Next we took the bus to Betty's burgers. It was delicious. After that, we walked right to the beach. It was a lot of fun. I was very cold because I didn't have any clothes to change into, but everyone helped me. My friends were too kind.
When I got home, I took a shower.
We had Bangers & Mash for dinner. It is a famous Australian dish consisting of grilled sausages and mashed potatoes.
It was an interesting day with lots of exposure to Australian culture.

Today was the fourth day of studying in Australia!
Today, instead of going to school, we went to the Eumundi Market and the beach.
First, we gathered at school in plain clothes and went to the market.
Eumundi Market is very big and there are many stores selling food, clothes, ornaments, etc. I was very excited! I especially liked the store selling paintings of the sea. All the paintings there were my favorite and I really enjoyed looking at them.
I drank pineapple juice made from pineapple. It was very juicy, but the foreign size and quantity made my stomach ache.
After that, I had a hamburger at Betty's Burger. It was an orthodox hamburger and delicious! I went to Noosa Beach near the restaurant. The ocean was very clean and the sand was smooth. I went into the ocean up to my knees. It was so nice and not cold.
I enjoyed burying myself in the sand, jumping around with my friends, taking pictures, and running around on the beach.
On the way back, we played card games on the bus. It was very heated and fun!
-Homestay story-
I ate Vegemite in the morning. I ate it with bread.V egemite is a famous jam in Australia and is said to be the worst jam in the world. My host father likes it, but my host sister hates it.I did not like it much because of its unique taste, which is different from that of Japan.
However, my host mother, who remembered that I wanted to eat Vegemite yesterday, served me a dish using Vegemite. The dish she served me was delicious, and the taste was mild with cheese. My host mother told me that it is not good to eat it as it is.
Today was a fun day, and I was able to experience some interesting cultures of Australia!
